This small local charity is able to offer modest one-off financial help to people in need.
To qualify:
- You must live within the 5 Berkeley Parishes
(Alkington, Berkeley Town, Ham & Stone, Hamfallow and Hinton)
- Have a legitimate need, and be prepared to disclose some details of your current circumstances. (Personal information is kept confidential within the trust.)
- Decisions on help are made at the discretion of the trustees and
Can be arranged quite quickly. Any payments do not have to be repaid.
Please be aware that the trust is unable to offer help towards utility payments or school transport.
To apply, contact the clerk of the Berkeley Parochial Trust in confidence, (by email if possible) with an outline of your need and circumstances.
